I’ve been studying, practicing, and teaching body-centered spirituality, including sacred sexuality, for over 40 years. I’ve had around 15,000 client sessions, led hundreds of workshops all over the US and in Japan, and countless people have told me that I changed their life.

But there have been challenges!
I have a partner named John. I love him deeply and we are very compatible with each other. We meet in so many ways! We got together when we were both 60, and had several years of a beautiful sexual relationship. But then as time went on, my hormone levels started dropping and my interest in sexual connection was extremely reduced. I got very sensitive and fussy. I had to be approached “just right”, or I would close up and be unavailable. It was very challenging and painful for both of us.
It came to a head . . .
I remember this day very well. We had gone through the same pattern, him trying to approach me and me being sensitive and somewhat abrupt and irritable. We had split apart for a moment, and I looked at him sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked so miserable. His body was slumped, his face was long and showed signs of hopelessness. My heart just broke. This man, who I loved with all my heart, was suffering because of me. And I was suffering too. I missed the sweetness and joy that we used to share. Sex had been such an important part of our relationship. I wanted it back again!
Right then and there, I resolved to shift things between us. Together, we applied the tools that I knew so well, from all my teaching of others. Now it was “Teach what you want to learn!”
And we got through it!
I’m happy to be able to say that it worked! It wasn’t always easy, but we found our way back to a beautiful, passionate sexual connection. We are experiencing moments of ecstasy that are far beyond anything that we ever experienced in the past. I can truthfully say that sex is better than it’s ever been.
